WARGAME with die-cut counters : Au temps des cerises, 1871

Au Temps des cerises is a solitaire game simulating the history of the reconquest of Paris by the troops of the Versailles government against the Insurrection of the Commune. In this game, you must lead the troops delegated by Adolphe Thiers, head of the executive branch of the newly established Third Republic, to seize the city of Paris, held by the revolutionary government of the Commune, and also strengthen the political legitimacy of the young regime in the eyes of France, Parisians, and Germany. The player faces three challenges: mastering the organization and importance of their combat actions, advancing despite resistance without wasting time, and constantly keeping track of their legitimacy points. There are many uncertainties (opposition from the Federals, fate of the weapons, abuses), but the final goal is clear.
