If you have played "Waterloo", the previous Treefrog Line wargame, then many aspects of this game will feel familiar. Combat and casualties are handled in a similar manner. The main difference between the games is the order system. You place numbered command blocks in areas to allow you to issue orders. The number of orders you can issue from an area depends on the value on the block.
If you have not played "Waterloo" then "Gettysburg" is a two player wargame please take comfort in the fact that this game is much easier to learn.
"Gettysburg" is a two player wargame recreating possibly the most famous battle of the American Civil War. The game should take three to four hours to complete.
